Dentures

We’d always prefer to keep our own teeth. However, if you do need to replace one, two or even all of your teeth, dentures are an excellent, cost-effective option that increase the functionality of your molars and restore your brilliant smile. Depending on your needs, they can be made with either an acrylic (plastic) base or a cast chrome (metal).

While they can take some time to get used to, the vast majority of people grow accustomed to their dentures and find themselves getting back into their regular lifestyle. If you’re finding your dentures frustrating or ill-fitting, make an appointment to discuss this with your dentist; no one has to live with constant frustration, and the solution may be a minor adjustment to have your dentures fitting more to your liking.

If, however, you feel your dentures are really not suiting you, there are alternatives to explore. A fixed alternative to partial dentures are bridges, while full dentures can be held in place by dental implants.
